Using Adobe Premiere Pro as a student allowed me to learn on the fly while working on my assignments, due to the wide range of basic tools that make it easy to do simple editing tasks such as cutting, key framing and adding transitions wherever needed. Premiere Pro also has a large variety of more advanced tools that came in useful towards the end of our college year with larger projects such as news reports. Due to Premiere Pro having a trial as well as the full version we were able to activate this online at home and continue working wherever we were which made for a particularly easy experience. The only real downside to the software is the fairly high requirements for running it and the occasional crashes that don’t seem to be fixable in most cases therefore making saving every few minutes a priority.
