LinkedIn has been great for my students. I have been able to get them industry contacts which have been able to answer their questions for their final major projects and get them connected with people all around the world. I highly recommend LinkedIn as it is the best way to find new career opportunities and get your questions answered. |

Essential to career progression in the Digital age - your students can use it to have their CV online for career opportunities and to add in skills/ endorse one another after each project. |

I have personally used Linkedin to connect with over 200 people and am in contact with several, Linkedin is essentially a professional social media in which you can show off any work related achievements, projects and educational grades, these can be seen by recruiters or any workplace you connect with and can be incredibly helpful in growing your connection library. Linkedin can be used to create contacts for students and staff alike to expand their job opportunities or simply talk to like minded professionals in any industry. I have helped several students set up their Linkedin pages and now many of them are in contact with professionals from their chosen industry, I would highly recommend everyone to use Linkedin, staff or student. |
